Taylor died at the hospital at Athens on Thursday, of a complication of diseases. The deceased was forty-two years of age and was formerly a very popular conductor on the local railroads. He was a member of the No. 243 J.H. Stewart Lodge and of the Order of Railway Conductors. He leaves a father and mother, a wife and four children to morn his death. He was born on April 1st., 1862. The funeral services will be held from the residence, No. 457 East Water Street, at two-thirty o'clock Sunday afternoon, the body having shipped to this city this afternoon. Rev. Elizabeth Howard and Rev. Hart will officiate. The body will be taken to Cutler, O, over the B. & O. S.-W. Monday morning for burial".

3. "Ella" is given in several documents like the Marriage Record, Washington Co., OH (Source No: 28), and other affidavits from Ross Co., OH.
4. "Luella Luelisa" is given on a Birth Record in Washington Co., OH when Zenner Earl Taylor was born (Source No:14).
5. Birth or Given Name is "Louisa Luella DeVine." Louisa, throughout her life, went by her middle name "Luella," which she used "Ella" as her nick name. Even her grave marker is not correct. Its inscribed as Louella Louisa DeVine.

Thanks to all that helped get the list of those buried in Washington Co. It does help a lot. I do have one of my ancestors not listed, Felix Broom, but I do have a copy of his death record that I received from the State of Ohio Bureau of Vital Statistics. I had only an approximate date and place (abt. 1810 to 1815). It was in June of 1914 and it also states that he was buried in Mt. Ephraim Cemetery., (Washington Co., OH)

I have been checking forums and message boards for information for some time, but this is my first posting...
My family has been researching the BROOM(E) family for several years, and always hit a brick wall when it comes to FELIX BROOM.
Felix was born in NOV 1825, but there is no record of any kind that we have found until he is listed in the 1850 census in Washington County, OH. He is actually listed twice, in different Twps, one lists age 22, the other says he is 25.
Felix married Victoria Rhodes 22 AUG 1861, and they had several children. He never left the Washington County OH area. He died in Washington County, OH on 22 JUN 1914.
All censuses say he was born in OH, but no birth record has been found.
Does anyone out there anywhere have any information on FELIX BROOM prior to 1850?
